The change from home cooked food to pedigree is best done gradually, over 7 days

Day 1-3

Put a handful of  PEDIGREE  in the food your dog is used to

Day 4-6

Replace half of your dog's meal with PEDIGREE so that he is eating a mixture which is half home cooked food and half PEDIGREE

Day 7 onwards

Your dog is now ready and eager to enjoy a full meal of only PEDIGREE. If he isn't enjoying his PEDIGREE  and home cooked food fo a few more days some dogs take longer than other to change their habits.  For further advice, call us or consult your vet.

You don't need to add anything to PEDIGREE .  Just make sure you give your dog fresha nd clean drinking water with every meal.
